Growing up as a child in the Southern Suburbs, I developed an early love of creative and symbolic painting as a way of conveying the human spirit.

Nature and life reflects so many things, and I wanted to reproduce those patterns within nature and my life.

When I first started painting and I came across pulse, I wanted to express my human spirit and to encapsulate the understanding of circles.

In many varied ways it is the answer to the message I wish to place on the canvas: to see full circle.

My spirits and circles represent human beings no matter where they reside. Behind bars, naked and free.
