Alex Erenbourg

Alex Erenbourg was born in Moscow, Russia. He graduated from the Moscow College of Applied Arts as a Jewellery maker and designer. As a young Jeweller in Moscow he worked in the ensuing years for the art galleries on the emerging art scene of rapidly changing Russia. Alex immigrated to Australia in 1993 and worked as a freelance jeweller for leading manufacturing companies in Sydney. Since then he's been developing his artistic range. He works with silver and gold, giving preference to simple but expressive shapes trying to bring together tradition and modernity. His technical skills allow for a broad experimentation with various ideas inspired by nature.
