Born in France, I spent many years in New Zealand where I studied weaving, dyeing, spinning and designing, obtaining a Hand-woven Textiles Diploma in 1990.

Ancient civilizations, nomadic people and their cultures have always fascinated me. From their so simple and yet so adapted/adaptable dwellings and architecture to their amazing textiles and jewellery.

While travelling and working through Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, I lived among many different cultures. People have more in common than politicians and bureaucrats would have us believe.

Not being into fashion or trends I use bits and pieces mainly collected during my travels. I just enjoy "putting bits together" and making necklaces which can be a simple yet a strong statement by themselves, unique, different to wear, and hopefully always to be enjoyed.
